25 Fellowships Awarded in the Eighth Edition of the Fellowship Program for Journalists and War Correspondents from Ukraine

The Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation has awarded 25 fellowships in the eighth edition of the #FellowshipProgramforJournalistsandWarCorrespondentsfromUkraine.

Through this initiative, we aim to support Ukrainian journalists in their courageous and demanding work following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The program supports professional development, international collaboration, and the strengthening of independent journalism during times of war.

In this edition, we received 132 applications for the program.

Fellows of this edition include:
Anastasiia Bahalika, Serhii Barbu, Oleksandr Brynza, Maria Galina, George Ivanchenko, Snizhana Gusarevich, Iryna Klachek, Viktor Kolomiiets, Stanislav Kozliuk, Myroslav Laiuk, Nina Liashonok, Olha Makukha, Maryna Mukhina, Iryna Nazarchuk, Svitlana Pikula, Dzvinka Hanna Pinchuk, Vitalii Poberezhnyi, Nataliia Popovych, Anna Romandash, Dzvenyslava Safian, Ivan Samoilov, Hanna Sokolova-Stekh, Yulia Surkova, Olha Tsyktor, Inna Varenytsia.

The jury for this edition included: Paweł Reszka (journalist), Sebastian Płóciennik (FWPN), Cornelius Ochmann (FWPN), Joanna Czudec (FWPN).

The next edition of the program will be announced in spring 2026.
