ENRS General Assemblies meeting

The internal annual General Assemblies meeting of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity will take place on 26 June 2025 at the Zielna Conference Center in Warsaw. The ENRS is an international network established in 2005 at the ministerial level to foster dialogue on 20th-century European history and ways in which it is commemorated. The Network's members include Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. Additionally representatives of Albania, Austria, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania and Latvia sit in the Network’s advisory bodies as observers. The annual meeting (which brings together members of the Steering Committee, Advisory Board and Academic Council) is an opportunity to discuss the operations and achievements of the ENRS as well as outline plans for future projects and developments. The representatives of the ENRS Secretariat will present a comprehensive report on the Network’s activities and projects in 2024 and 2025 and their editions planned for the rest of the year and for 2026. Participants will discuss strategic issues of the Network, such as accession of new member states to the ENRS, the perspectives of the Network’s development and especially the comprehensive organisational strategy document for the years 2026-2030. The challenges for the Network in the face of recent developments in international historical policy in Europe will also addressed. The meeting is not open to the public.
