Young Editorial Board
About the Programme
Young Editorial Board is an initiative of the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation aimed at students interested in journalism, culture and Polish-German relations. The programme creates a space for developing journalistic skills and deepening knowledge about Polish-German cooperation.
Participants take part in workshops led by experienced journalists. The classes focus on creating event coverage, conducting interviews and preparing engaging content for social media.
Young editors visit Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation projects across Poland. They work on their own texts, interviews and reviews. An important element of the programme is mentoring and meetings at media editorial offices in Poland and Germany.
The programme lasts approximately one year. It concludes with the Young Editorial Board’s participation in the Polish-German Forum and the preparation of coverage from the discussions and meetings taking place during this event.

The exhibition by the artistic duo Prinz Gholam at the Zacheta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw is an encounter with performance, drawing and sculpture that balance between classical forms and contemporary reflection on identity and the body. MorePoetry Next Door – A Meeting with Birgit Kreipe
So close, yet so far – on the one hand, we share a border with Germany, but on the other, when it comes to German poets, most Poles would probably only name Goethe and Schiller. Poetry lovers, though they may know more, do not have access to many Polish translations of contemporary artists from across the Oder. Meanwhile, poetry just next door did not stop in the 19th century and is doing quite well. Report by Patrycja Czyzowska
MoreTo Taste the Ocean. Is This Another Event About Ecology?
Water. The kind that falls from the sky, the kind that fills seas and oceans, the kind we drink, the kind that will one day run out. Can anything more be said about it? The Happiness Research Lab proves that sometimes what matters is not what we say, but how we say it. Report by Sofiya Stolyar.

Combined with the summer atmosphere and soothing classical music, it delivered an extraordinary experience. Report by Karolina Kwiecien
MoreThe Obligation of Everything for Free
An animal without a passport has no value – but is that really true? Where is the line between fraud and telling only selected parts of the truth? Can a lie be forgiven? These questions are answered by the theatrical adaptation of a book entitled "Foxes Don't Lie" by Ulrich Hub, directed by Anna Wolszczak. A funny, witty yet touching performance that reminds us why it is worth nurturing the inner child and always remembering our friends. Report by Karolina Najda
MoreThe Year 2050
The current climate crisis reveals the deeply rooted hypocrisy of the Global North. Europe struts like a peacock, presenting ever newer ecological solutions while quietly contributing significantly to climate change. How much do we really have to hide? These and other questions were answered by Dr Malgorzata Krywult-Albanska and migration expert Hannah Hayenn during the Open Plan Foundation seminar "Climate Migration as a Matter of Justice." Report by Aleksandra Leks
