Fellowship Program for Journalists and War Correspondents from Ukraine
Fellowship Program for Journalists and War Correspondents from Ukraine

About the program
In early March 2022, the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation announced for the first time a scholarship program for journalists and war correspondents from Ukraine.
Since then, we have completed eight editions of the program (we launch two calls each year – in spring and autumn). Each time, between 80 and 130 Ukrainian journalists apply for support.
The aim of the competition is to assist journalists who, through their work, report on the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and help maintain the continuity of editorial activities under wartime conditions. Funding may cover the costs of preparing and publishing an article, reportage (print, radio, TV, online), photo reportage, or a book.
Journalists permanently residing in Ukraine who report on Russian aggression and its consequences are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
